Hair Chalking

After a few months of missing the usual pink streaks I have in my hair, I thought I needed to add some colour. After watching endless Youtube dip dye videos, I discovered the technique of chalking. I went into a rather expensive art shop and bought four different coloured soft pastel chalks.

I decided to use two colours: dark purple and turquoise blue. I started with the purple and by taking sections, in turn, wet a section and basically coloured it in. By twisting my hair, it made it easier to transfer the colour. I then straightened each section after the colouring in and repeated with the turquoise above the purple.

Its a great way to add some colour into your hair but its very messy and the colour can still transfer onto your clothes the next day. Its the next day and it has faded slightly but I have yet still to wash my hair but I am hoping that it will leave a hint of colour in. :)
